There are many special places in the world, but very few bring together authenticity, tranquillity, history and a unique setting where time seems to have stood still. One such place is the Greek island of Kythira, located in the southeast of the Peloponnese peninsula. It is, without a doubt, a real jewel to be discovered. This is where Casa Kombonada is located, a luxury accommodation in a luxury location. The interior design of a truly special house in Greece is the result of the collaborative and personalised work of Enrica Mosciaro’s team.

Kythera is said to be the birthplace of Aphrodite, who had a temple on the island in her honour. In fact, Kythera is one of the names of the Greek goddess of love. Looking at the scenery, this is not at all surprising. The island exudes charm, uniqueness and a unique magic. And the careful and exquisite interior design of Casa Kombonada has focused on preserving its essence without renouncing the comforts of 21st century accommodation.

As soon as you open the door, you breathe peace and tranquillity. Casa Kombonada has a long history and has been restored with care and professionalism. The work carried out by our architecture and interior design studio is an ideal combination of conservation and comfort.

In this complex of several buildings there are different patios and terraces from where you can discover an exceptional landscape while enjoying maximum privacy. All the spaces in the complex create a cosy atmosphere.

A haven of peace in the heart of the island

Casa Kombonada can accommodate up to 14 people and has 4 bedrooms. Each room has been specially designed and lit to provide a tranquil atmosphere. This is reflected in all the rooms. The living room, dining room and kitchen, the main meeting points, are connected to a large panoramic terrace. Apart from the interior spaces ideal for meeting or resting, there are other outdoor spaces that invite you to relax. There is nothing like starting the day with a good breakfast under the shade of the pergola while contemplating the landscape. Thanks to a service kitchen in a discreet corner, it is not necessary to enter the house to have everything ready on the table.

And after sunset, when the calm sets in, dinner on the terrace is almost a must. Under the Greek sky and the stars, everything looks wonderful. And if we are talking about relaxation, both for adults and children, the swimming pool is a must. A swim at any time of the day with the magnificent views as a backdrop is most refreshing.

A great added value of Casa Kombonada is its convenient location. It is located in the centre of Kythera, in the village of Frilingianika, close to both the airport and the port of Diakofti. This also makes it a perfect spot for easy access to its splendid beaches and picturesque villages. A third advantage of its location is the climate, which is cooler and more pleasant than on the coast, especially at night.
